RAB lighting announced an average price increase of 15%
Recently, RAB Lighting announced a 15% increase in average product prices from May 20, 2019.
In a letter to dealers and agents, RAB said:
"The U.S. department of commerce and the office of the United States trade representative (USTR) have imposed tariffs on many imports from China, including lighting fixtures, controllers and lighting components.These increased tariffs are being implemented by the ustr at an unprecedented rate, and we cannot fully absorb the impact on the cost of our products.
As a result, we are announcing a 15 percent increase in average product prices from May 20, 2019.The new pricing will be released as a spreadsheet on or before May 16, 2019.You can also contact your local RAB representative for price information through the distributor portal at rablighting.com.
